I am thrilled to welcome you to the Jordan Breast Cancer Program’s 2^nd Regional Conference and Multidisciplinary Workshop.

For over 21 years, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center have tackled the challenge of breast cancer by fostering community awareness, with a focus on changing the way society perceives the disease and highlighting the importance of screening and early detection in improving survival rates. These activities, led by the Jordan Breast Cancer Program, have transformed the status quo for breast cancer screening and early detection across the Kingdom.

In Jordan, the 2^nd Regional Conference and Multidisciplinary Workshop is our latest initiative to comprehensively address breast cancer prevention and care, with an emphasis on screening, and early detection. It convenes specialists from across the region and the globe to put their talent and expertise towards better understanding and controlling breast cancer, and ultimately, saving women’s lives.
